Delhi, New: According to the project director, Shaurya, a Namibian cheetah involved in the Cheetah relocation project, passed away on Tuesday afternoon in the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. In Kuno, this is the tenth cheetah death. According to a statement from the forest department, news agency PTI stated that the reason of death has not yet been ascertained following a post mortem investigation.

In an interview with PTI, Forest Minister Chouhan stated that he had learned of Namibian cheetah Shaurya's passing at KNP in the Sheopur area. Around eleven in the morning, the tracking crew noticed that Shaurya was not walking correctly. The wild animal was then tranquilized, and attempts were made to revive the cat, but they were unsuccessful, according to the statement.

The wild animal died at 3:17 p.m. due to complications that developed after the rescue and its inability to respond to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
