After learning of his father Charles's cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry will visit the UK again. King Charles's cancer diagnosis was announced by Buckingham Palace on Monday, although the kind of the cancer the monarch had was not disclosed.

"An additional matter of worry was identified during The King's most recent hospital operation for benign prostatic enlargement. A type of cancer has been detected through more medical testing, according to Buckingham Palace.

Following the announcement of the monarch's cancer diagnosis, messages of courage and support were sent in from all over the world. International leaders prayed for Charles's quick recovery and sent him messages.

His younger son Harry is scheduled to visit his father in the UK in the coming days, according to people familiar with the proceedings who spoke with news agency Reuters.

This may be the beginning of "a sort of rapprochement" between Harry and the King, according to a Reuters article, after "a very public family fallout with his Netflix documentary and his memoir and other TV interviews." The royal family has come under heavy fire from Prince Harry. According to the Reuters story, "His father's health takes precedence over any kind of falling out they may have had over other matters."

The largest cloud hanging over the UK royal family prior to Charles's cancer diagnosis was the lingering animosity between Harry and Charles, as well as between William and the rest of his family.

"We are aware that King Charles personally disclosed the disease news to his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Furthermore, we now know that Prince Harry is intending to travel to the UK to see his father. "This is a sign of how serious this is, but it's also hopefully a sign that they can put things aside and really focus on what's important and maybe mend some bonds," Stephanie Petit, royals editor of People Magazine, was quoted as saying by the news agency. Prince Harry currently resides in California.
