MP News: The Madhya Pradesh High Court has served notice of contempt to Facebook, YouTube, and X (previously Twitter) in response to a petition about the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. The court is also requesting a response. The petition claims that the offensive remarks made on social media by former MLA RD Prajapati and others against Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham have not been taken down, even in defiance of the court's explicit order.
The petitioner's attorney, Pankaj Dubey, stated that during the case's Wednesday hearing, Justice Rajmohan Singh's single bench served notices of contempt to Facebook, YouTube, and X (previously Twitter), as well as demanded responses from the relevant officials.

Accused of spreading false videos:
In response to a petition filed by Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's student Ranjit Singh Patel, Ritika Gupta and attorney Pankaj Dubey presented their side of the story in court. According to the petition, false films disparaging Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri are being shared on social media without any verification.

He maintained that the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, Chhatarpur, is Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. His brilliance is seen around the world, and he is a highly renowned saint of Sanatan Dharma. The petitioner claims that former MLA Prajapati deliberately created and distributed offensive posts and news in online media because he was upset with Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's quirkiness. In this instance, the High Court issued orders to delete the offensive remarks immediately in an order that was passed on December 4. However, since nothing was done, a contempt petition has been brought.
