SpiceJet: A traveller on a SpiceJet Airlines aircraft from Mumbai to Bangalore was forced to spend 1.30 hours in the restroom. A mechanical malfunction prevented the passenger from exiting the vehicle because the restroom gate would not open. The passenger was removed from the aircraft by ground crew after it touched down at Bengaluru's Kempagowda International Airport by breaking down the restroom door. Being trapped in the toilet even at the moment of landing caused the victim great distress.
According to airport sources, flight number SG-268 is when the incident involving the passenger becoming trapped in the aircraft's restroom first surfaced. This SpiceJet plane had taken off on Tuesday, January 16, at two in the morning from Mumbai Airport. The details regarding the traveler who became trapped in the restroom are yet unknown. A SpiceJet representative has stated that the individual who became locked in the toilet has received a complete refund. Also, the cabin personnel attempted to open the bathroom door. The door did not, however, open.

How did the traveler become stranded inside the aircraft?
The passenger reportedly unbuckled his seatbelt and used the restroom as soon as the aircraft took off, based on the information provided. However, he became trapped inside the restroom due to a flaw in the door. Additionally, the passenger alerted the staff members to their situation from inside the restroom. Following this, the team members attempted to open the door quickly. However, that didn't even unlock the door. The poor traveller was stuck in the restroom for the next 1.30 hours.
Simultaneously, an air hostess wrote in large letters on the paper, "Sir, we have tried a lot to open the door," while the crew members began to feel as though the restroom door would not open. However, we've been unable to open it. We will land soon, so don't worry. As a result, remove the commode's lid, sit on it, and protect yourself. We will be aided by engineers as soon as we land. The passenger was then given this paper, which was hidden beneath the door.

The door was broken in order to remove the passenger:
On Tuesday, the SpiceJet aircraft touched down at Bengaluru airport at 3:42 a.m. The engineers smashed down the door and removed the passenger from the restroom as soon as the jet touched down. First aid was administered to the passenger right away. According to officials, the victim passenger had choked to death.
